Your Brain- Accelerated Learning and NLP

These new and better ways involve using all of your brain and all of your mind… Let’s take a look at your brain next. If you continue using your brain in the way they taught you at school then the answer is probably yes. You will keep getting those results that lead to poor performance in learning. Your Brain-NLP and accelerated learning

NLP, accelerated learning and how your brain processes information…

Your brain has two “operating systems”. Conscious and unconscious. These two operating systems have different capacities when dealing with information. research has shown that your conscious mind ( that’s the bit that you’re aware of and that you’re using to read this article with) can cope with 7 bits of information per second. + or – 2. So that’s to say between 5 and 9 bits of information. Any more than that and you start to go into overwhelm. I suspect that the enormous levels of information we are bombarded with every day are responsible for the rise in ADD and ADHD. Basically, people may be “checking out” to avoid overwhelm. I have been on a mission for the last week… In the last 3 days I have delivered six trainings on accelerated learning to various parts of the community across a diverse range of demographics. It was my contribution to Adult learners week for my friends and neighbours. I was also curious about how interested people are in taking charge of their destiny through learning how to change and adapt more easily and quickly. That’s what education and learning are. Change and adaptation. And there are two ways to carry out this learning process. You can learn proactively, by observing that the world we live in is changing very rapidly, and gathering skills that will allow you to adapt most easily to those changes. And there’s the reactive option.... http://transformingleaders.net/blog/2012/09/08/adult-education-nlp-and-accelerated-learning/
